The Set / Tenor Ukulele 4-string (g c' e' a' - Low G Tuning, Key of C) features a G-string (4th) that is tuned 1 octave lower, and the A/E/C strings are made of a mixture of NYLGUT and red copper powder, resulting in a red-brown color.

The Red Series strings are made from Nylgut that is first made elastic and then combined with red copper powder in order to increase the density to about twice that of standard white Nylgut. This slightly rough surface has eliminated the squeak that sometimes occurs with Nylguts. The new red-brown strings offer a great feel and excellent tonal characteristics.
